RODNEY BARTHELEMESS is entering his third year with
the Bobcats as Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach. He received his B.A. from Northeast Louisiana University
and his M.Ed. from Stephen F. Austin State University. His thirteen years in education includes coaching at Ennis, Sulphur
Springs, and Kilgore. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Carie, the TAKS Coordinator at HHS and their two children,
Lexie and Cade. He loves being outdoors and enjoys hunting, fishing and playing golf. Rodney also coaches powerlifting
and is involved with Coaches Outreach, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Doulous.
CHRIS COCHRAN begins his fourth year of coaching as the coach for Bobcat linebackers
and special teams. He previously coached football in Lindale ISD and is a 2000 Hallsville High School graduate, played football
for the Ouachita Baptist University Tigers and graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2004. Chris was also voted
Captain of 1999 Regional Semifinalist Bobcat “Gold Rush” team, received All District football honors in 1998 and
1999 and All Cypress Valley, 1999. Chris was a 3 year letterman in powerlifting and 2 years in football. He loves sports,
spending time with family and friends and playing golf. He teaches history at Hallsville High School.
