GOLF:

Congratulations to the boys golf team for their performance in the Lobo Golf Tournament yesterday at Pinecrest Country Club. The conditions were cold and windy and the guys hung in there and performed well.
The boys shot a score of 340 and finished in 4th place out of 20 teams.
Nathan Weant led the cats with an 82 followed by Ty Pearson with an 84. Bradon Oram shot 85, Eric Crawford 89 and Brantsen Castloo 93.
The boys are back in action next week in a 2 day tournament at Texarkana.

Congratulations to the boys golf team for their performance in the Spring Hill Invitational Tournament yesterday. the boys shot a team score of 322 which was good enough for 5th place out of 22 teams.
Nathan Weant led the way with an even par round of 70. He finished in a tie for 2nd and won the 2nd place medalist in a 2 hole playoff.
Other scores were: Ty Pearson with an 81
                            Bradon Oram 85   
                            Brantsen Castloo 86
                            Eric Crawford 87
The golf team will be back in action next Tuesday in the Bullard Invitational.

Congratulations to the boys jv golf team for their performance in the Pine Tree golf tournament yesterday. The boys finished in a tie for 4th place with a score of 379.

Weant wins Easter Shootout in playoff
  
RICHARDSON, Texas(April 11, 2009) - Hallsville's Nathan Weant and Neil Dufford of Midland shot matching rounds of 72-73 to finish with a five over par 145. Weant took the title with a par on the first playoff hole. This was the second victory of the year for Weant. He won the Stableford Championship at Cimarron Hills GC in March.In addition to earning an AJGA tournament exemption, Weant qualified for the Callaway Junior World in the Boys 15-17 division.

Congratulations to the boys golf team for their performance in the Pine Tree Twisted 54 golf tournament last Friday and Saturday. The Bobcats shot their best scores of the season and finished in 9th place out of 17 teams. Nathan Weant had rounds of 67, 74 and 68 to finish as the tournament champion. This is the 2nd year in a row Nathan has won this tournament.Dayton Cargill also had rounds of 76,75 and 75 and finished in a tie for 13th place. The boys play again Tuesday at Holly Lake in Hawkins.
