PAT EITEL is a graduate of J. J. Pearce High School and Stephen F. Austin State University.  Pat is beginning his fifth year as Head Coach of the Ladycats Softball Team.  In 2009, he led the Ladycat Softball Team all the way to the 4A Regional Semi-Finals.  He also led the Ladycats to its first in school history BACK TO BACK District 12 – 4A Championship.  Pat was named 2007 & 2008 Coach of the Year in District 12 – 4A and 2008 All Harrison & Marion County Coach of the Year.  His wife, Michelle, teaches at Hallsville Intermediate School.  They have two daughters, Brittany 17, and Heather 14.  Pat’s favorite pastime is playing golf and spending time at the lake.

The Varsity Boys Cross Country team traveled to Arlington this past Saturday to compete in the Region II-4A Cross Country Championships.  The team finished 12th overall out of 24 teams, led by Graham VanDusen (31st overall), Austin Lightle, Luke Johnston, Ryan Townsend, Michael Stilley, and Trey Knight.  HUGE performance by Pierce Pipak who stepped in for an injured Blake Dykes and helped the team defeat Sulphur Springs by 42 points, solidifying their spot as top Cross Country program in East Texas!  Teachers and staff, thank you for all your support this season!!!
