CROSS COUNTRY is a UIL sanctioned sport that is offered to males and females during after school hours in the fall.The Varsity and Junior Varsity teams participate in several meets throughout the season and in the District Meet.Athletes are taught to challenge themselves at each and every race, as well as team unity.Qualities of cross country athletes are a desire to compete, discipline, enthusiasm, and being a team player
