Congratulations to the Ladycat Golf Girls for making an impressive comeback Saturday with a season low score of 356 at the Granbury Tournament held at Harbor Lakes. The Ladycats team score of 373 Friday was mainly a result of Ashley Woodley's 90 followed 93's each by Abby Drewery and Megan Escoe. On Saturday, Kelly Bulich led the Ladycats with low score of 85 followed by Sarah Bradshaw's 89, Megan Escoe's 90, and Abby Drewery's 92. The Ladycats will play again Tuesday in the Elysian Fields tournament held at Crooked Hollow. Way to go Ladycats!

Despite the cold and rainy weather, the Hallsville Ladycat Golf team played their first tournament of the spring season Friday and Saturday (Jan. 29-30) at Crown Colony in Lufkin. The Ladycats were in 3rd place on Friday by shooting a 373 team score. Ashley Woodley led the Ladycats with an 89 followed by Sarah Bradshaw with 91, Kelly Bulich 93, Abby Drewery 100, Bailey Gideon 105 and Megan Escoe with a 107. On Saturday the Ladycats finished overall in 4th place by shooting a 380 the second day. Abby Drewery was the low scorer the second day shooting 90 followed by Ashley Woodley with 94, Megan Escoe 94 (medalist), Sarah Bradshaw 96, Kelly Bulich 100, and Bailey Gideon 109. The J.V. will play at Peach Tree in the Bullard tournament Tuesday and all of the girls will play the following week in the Spring Hill Tournament held at Wood Hollow in Longview.
