What a great tournament and a fantastic way to finish the season. Our Ladycat Golf girls
had set a golf of a 350 team score and worked hard all season - but 360 was their best through Monday of this week. They realized
yesterday after finishing the first round of regionals and tying for 5th, that they could play right along with these girls
and they were determined to reach their goal. The girls came out ready to play today and had the best weather they have
had all year. The Ladycats finished with a strong team score of 346 and were only 12 strokes away from advancing to
the state tournament. (Team 360, 346 - 706 - 4th place) Meaghan Howell led the Ladycats both days with 83,80 - 163;
Kelly Bulich shot her best score ever with 90, 85 - 175; Sarah Bradshaw shot 92, 88 - 180; Bailey Gideon 105, 93 - 198, and
Abby Drewery 95, 100 - 195. Our medalist, Ashley Woodley shot 94, 101 - 195. Our girls beat Sulphur Springs both
rounds which shows in their
eyes they are truly the district champs. (Attached are the regional results.)
Thanks for your support during this season.
