BOBCAT STADIUM RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

 Announcement guidelines:

*          All Stadium Announcements for the Friday Football Games must be in the

Athletic Office by 9 am the Friday of the day of the game.

*          All announcements for the Thursday Football Games must be in the Athletic Office by 9 am the Thursday of the day of the game.

The following announcements will not be made:

No birthdays

No anniversaries

No special occasions

No advertisements for any businesses

The following announcements will be made:

Notifications of lights left on a vehicle, lost children, or other emergency announcements

Only after game church activities will be announced

All school sponsored activities

All school sponsored activities at the game (ex. face painting)

All activities that involve the entire community (ex. Western Days, Christmas Parades)

Fund Raisers to benefit those in need or other worthwhile community projects

Numbers of the winners of the Lions Club Program Contest

Other information that may be announced as deemed necessary:

Law enforcement officials will enforce Hallsville district policy regarding

NO TOBACCO PRODUCTS on school property.

Fans who go out of stadium may not return without the purchase of another ticket.

Student Code of Conduct will apply at the games.

No candy, gum, sunflower seeds, peanut hulls, Gatorade, colored drinks or tobacco on the field

No one is allowed on the field after the game, for your traditional meeting of players you may go on the track by the field house.

Any items for sale at football games must be approved by the Athletic Director and must be sponsored by a school organization.

Playing Field and Track:

In order to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our fans and participants the following will be enforced at all Bobcat Stadium events:

The following will not be allowed on the playing field and track.

  1. Metal-cleated shoes or track spikes are not allowed on the field
  2. Vehicles
  3. Animals
  4. Cannon, victory bells, noisemakers, confetti
  5. Spectators
  6. Glass containers
  7. Water is the only liquid allowed on the field. No colored drinks (such as Gatorade) may be brought onto the field by any group. Teams may have these drinks in the dressing room, but not on the field. Bands and other support groups may have drinks in the stands only.
  8. Tobacco, sunflowers seeds, peanut hulls, gum, and other similar type products are not allowed on the field.
  9. Vinyl “run through” signs are recommended. Do not use painted paper when it is raining or the field is wet.
  10. Stadium management reserves the right to restrict the use of any items on the field. Props must not mark or scar the field or track. This includes painted items as well as sharp wheels or other equipment that may damage the artificial surface or track.
  11. The use of chairs, stools, ladders, high-heeled shoes, or other pointed objects will not be allowed on the field without prior approval.
  12. No ice chests will be allowed in the stadium except for competing teams and band/drill teams/cheerleaders with prior approval. Absolutely no glass bottles, cans or food on the field.
  13. Those without proper credentials or non-uniformed individuals will not be allowed on the field. Non-uniformed individuals must get a field pass from the athletic office.
  14. Spirit signs may not be taped to the stands or fences. They may be tied with ropes or strings.

Media Center

  1. Admittance to the Media Center is by media pass only, which are acquired from the Media Center manager.
  2. Members of the media and school organizations must contact the Media Center manager at 903-668-5996 in advance.

Track meets

All buses will be parked in the parking lot on the west side of the stadium.

High school and junior high school warm-up areas will be on the west side of the field house in a designated area. Warm ups will not be allowed on the field.

Relay handoffs may practice on the track up to 45 minutes prior to the start of finals.

Relay for Life

Tents are allowed in the D zones of the playing field, concrete aprons next to the bleachers, and grassy area north and south of the stands. Only weights can support the tents, no driven objects are allowed.

Barbecue grills will only be allowed in the north and south grassy areas near the stands and  in the concrete area in front of the stands and in the D zones at the north and south ends of the playing field.

Chairs may be placed on concrete in front of the home/visitor bleachers by the track

Candles can be placed on the inside concrete curb of the track. Candles must be carefully disposed of.

Set up must comply with the above regulations.

Hallsville ISD reserves the right to accept or deny any actions deemed unacceptable for stadium use.
