SCOTT
MITCHELL is a graduate of Kilgore High School, Angelina Junior College and University of Texas
at Tyler. He is entering his 18th year in coaching and his 13th year at Hallsville.
Scott is the head baseball coach and head 9th football coach for the Bobcats. He was named district Coach of the
Year for baseball in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006. He is currently the THSBCA All-State & Poll Chairman for baseball and
an officer. He previously coached at Marshall and Kilgore. He and his wife of 17 years, Pam, have two daughters, Mollie, 13,
and Katie, 9. His favorite pastime is playing golf and he is a sports card collector.
DANIEL
PIPAK is assistant baseball coach and teaches Calculus at Hallsville High School.
He is a Longview High School graduate and received a B.S. from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is beginning his 21st
year of coaching and previously held coaching positions in Bynum, Italy, and Spring Hill. Daniel and his wife, Lynne have
two children, Allison-19 is a sophomore at Texas A & M University and Pierce-15, a freshman at Hallsville High School.
His favorite pastimes are baseball activities and spending time with his family at the beach.

JACK WALTON is a former Bobcat and received his teaching degree at East
Texas Baptist University. He is the varsity receivers coach and teaches at Hallsville High School. He and
his wife, Erinn are parents of one daughter, Laynie Paige. He loves spending time with his family, fishing and playing golf.
