SCOTT MITCHELL
is a graduate of
Kilgore High
School, Angelina Junior College
and University of Texas at Tyler.
He is entering his
18th year in
coaching and his 13th year at
Hallsville. Scott is the head
baseball coach and head 9th
football coach for the Bobcats.
He was named district Coach of
the Year for baseball in 2002,
2003, 2004 and 2006. He is
currently the THSBCA All-State
& Poll Chairman
for baseball and
an officer. He previously coached
at Marshall and Kilgore. He and
his wife of 17 years,
Pam, have
two daughters, Mollie, 13, and
Katie, 9. His favorite pastime is
playing golf and he is a sports
card collector.
