KIRK MCMASTER
 
is entering his 29th year of coaching and 11th 
at Hallsville High School. He is currently
serving as the video/technology coordinator
for the Bobcat football program as well as
Freshman Boys Basketball coach. In the
classroom he is teaching World Geography
and Economics. Kirk began his coaching
career in the Longview ISD, spending 11
seasons. He was the Boys Head Basketball
Coach at Paul Pewitt High School for 3 years
where he was honored as District 14AA Coach
of the year in 1993 and 1994. He then served
as Head Boys Basketball coach at
Corrigan-Camden High School leading them
in 1996 to their first play-off appearance in
20 years. His wife Gayla teaches French at
HHS and they have two sons, Dillon, 14,
who is a member of the Bobcat Freshman
football team and the Bobcat Band and Sean,
10, a 5th grader at Hallsville Middle School
who is a Bobcat ball boy this season. Kirk
and his family are active members of First
Baptist Church of Hallsville
